McCaskey Alumni

“McCaskey Proud”

Historical Preservation

The Alumni Center at McCaskey houses copies of the Vidette newspaper, Burning Glass literary magazine, McCaskey yearbooks, athletic programs, and other memorabilia.

The School District of Lancaster is the second oldest school district in Pennsylvania behind the School District of Philadelphia. The staff of the McCaskey Alumni Association serve as the chief stewards of this long and remarkable history. Our Alumni Center in room 265 of J.P. McCaskey High School serves as the McCaskey archives and museum. Members of the McCaskey Alumni Association may use the Alumni Center archives for research and recreation.

Among the many items we collect and distribute are yearbooks. If you would like a copy of a yearbook, please make an appointment to receive it in the Alumni Center. We request a donation of $25.

If you would like to donate any School District of Lancaster memorabilia to our collections, you can mail it to us or drop it off at the reception window in the foyer of J.P. McCaskey High School with an indication that it is for the attention of the McCaskey Alumni Association. You may also contact us and make an appointment to visit the Alumni Center.

Your donation will be recognized in the Alumni Vidette.
